Critters!
Critters! is a model of organisms for the study
of evolutionary biology. Critters are born, acquire resources,
grow, mate, reproduce, and die in a virtual world. Critters phenotypes
and reproduction are based on a chromosomal model allowing students
to graph and perform statistics on allele frequencies. Students
can explore and learn about natural selection, genetic drift,
gene flow, mutation, non-random mating, and the mutation-selection
balance.
